This course deals with the emergence and development of convention tourism. This involves planning and organizing of various types of meetings, workshops, conferences, and banquets, including F&B services, extra and complementary needs, special needs, financing of various types of conferences, other sponsorships, market analysis, and coping with emergencies and crises that could affect hotels in such events.
